Pear and stone on the nose. Rounder than the village wine yet a bit less pliant due to some spiky acids. There's a mineral firmness here but not quite enough flesh and sweetness to buffer the firm acids. A bit tart on the finish.

Slightly reduced, musky nose hints at citrus fruits and smoke. Juicy and minerally, with firm acidity and attractive floral lift. Not especially fleshy but consistent and persistent. (The Morgeot was too reduced to assess with confidence.)
