The 2000 Domaine Font de Michelle Châteauneuf-du-Pape possesses a nice nose of raspberries, dark fruits and some nice subtle wood nuances to go along with a smooth and balanced character.

The deep ruby/purple-colored 2000 Chateauneuf du Pape exhibits a plump, sweet nose of black currants, cherries, licorice, and hints of tapenade as well as leather. Medium to full-bodied, with moderate tannin (lost in the wealth of fruit and glycerin), and a charming, velvety style, it will drink well for 10-14 years. Feb 2003, www.robertparker.com
