Score 91/100 · Robert Parker, Jan 1997
The aromas of roasted nuts, Provencal herbs, smoked meats, and intense candied fruit swell in the glass. On the palate, the unctuous texture from the heaps of fruit, glycerin, and alcohol makes for a wonderfully hedonistic drinking experience. This should be drunk up. Last tasted 6/86.
