Tasting notes
RS 3.4 g/l, TA 6.2 g/l, 3.50 pH. 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4.5% Merlot, 4.5% Cabernet Franc. Juicy blueberry fruit, blackcurrant, tobacco, cedar. Chewy but soft tannins, perfumed and dense. Nicely combined, and gets the balance of juicy fruit and savoury complexity. (RH)

Seems relatively underpriced... A hint of green on the nose. Then sweet. Not as sophisticated as most reds on the international scene. Has probably become so since 2005 but they presumably need to sell this older vintage. Sharp and a bit too demanding... (JR)
Quite garnet on the rim already. Developed and expressive with pure black fruit, meat and dry tannins. Quite serious, a good flagship for South African Cabernet. (RH)
