Score 85/100 · Drink 1990-1994, Robert Parker, Jan 1990
While this wine should still be better, particularly in view of the vineyards owned, it is soft and fruity, not terribly concentrated, but round and immediately accessible. A very famous estate with superbly situated vineyards, the Domaine Lamarche is beginning once again to make good, not great, wine after a decade of spotty performances. It should be drunk over the next 3-4 years.
