Not very expressive (though that may be to do with the tiny sample I was given). Tight, lively. No great depth but all in balance with a spicy finish. (JH)

Green pepper, spicy herbs, and red currants make for a relatively austere, medium-bodied wine. (Tasted once.)

Dark purplish crimson with a pale rim. Lifted, refreshing nose – quite a contrast to the Pey La Tour tasted immediately beforehand.  Super-cool nose – menthol cigarettes? Lively and fresh and simple and supple. Very pretty but much riper and sweeter than most Graves vintages.  Sweet with a note of green and then polished.  (JR)
