I liked this bottle of 1996 Delas Frères Côte-Rôtie better on the nose than the palate and it started out perfumed, complex and just down right interesting. Earthy, leather, hot stone and spicy notes come jumping out of the glass and there's lot of maturity to the aromas. The palate is medium bodied and while it started out with nice flesh and texture, started to show more and more acidity with air. Drink em if you got em... and it's pretty damn good.
