Ripe and dark but much fresher than the Monthelie. Light and fresh on the palate, not very substantial. (JH)

Deep red. Very ripe aromas of raspberry, mocha and flowers. Sweet, broad and deep, with captivating flavors of raspberry, spice and underbrush. Nicely balanced wine with a subtle, rising finish featuring fine tannins. This was to have been bottled in December.
