2010 Clos Manou

Floral notes intermixed with blueberry and black raspberry, along with hints of incense and subtle oak, are followed by a medium to full-bodied wine with terrific purity, concentration and length. This is another sleeper of the vintage in this top vintage. Drink it over the next 10-12+ years. I loved this wine in 2010. It is a powerful example of the vintage, coming in at 14.5% natural alcohol. It is a rather distinctive blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and the rest equal parts Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. About 2,500 cases were produced of this full-bodied, powerful wine, which tastes like a classified growth.
