Fruit rather than minerals on the nose of this one, with a touch of smoke. This isn't as fine as some. Rather obvious. (JR)

Restrained, brooding, slightly metallic aromas of minerals and flint; a distinctly masculine style. Firm, minerally and uncompromisingly dry, with good ripeness but less density and flavor development than the Clos. Subdued but long on the back end. Needs time.
