Tasting notes
Bright nose of plum and briary fruit. Chewy and firm but with nice underlying fruit. Classic one might say but in the nicest sense.

Wonderful aromas of blueberries, currants and flowers follow through to a full body, with ultra fine tannins and a gorgeous finish. Best Potensac in years. Even better than the 2009.
The wine offers vibrant plums and a freshness on the nose but on the palate, the tannins are tough and chewy. The high acidity adds to the astringency and the finish is dry and relatively short. Disappointing given how successful Potensac was in 2009. asianpalate.com
Potensac Beefy in style, powerful and tannic, with a long bitter chocolate and cassis finish that is slightly marred by some dryness in the finish traditionally styled wine. winecellarinsider.com
