Second wine of Pontet Canet. Very deep crimson. Ripe and seductive. Not subtle but awfully good value at just over £100 a case. Tannins still dominate. Very positive wine with a strange hint of pineapple chunks (another in the eye for that researcher who said we wine tasters only even mention red and black fruits for red and black wines and green and yellow ones for white wines).
