Score 89/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Medium red. Red fruit and spice on the nose. Bright strawberry flavor in the mouth; slightly tart and quite unevolved today owing to its strong acid spine. Can't quite match the 1990 Gran Reservas for depth of flavor. But has good concentration and a very firm finish.
