Tasting Notes
Closed on the nose but the extrovert palate is absolutely full of fruit. Good concentration and length. Good quality this year.

This full bodied and generous d'Armailhac is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon 57%, Merlot 28%, Cabernet Franc 13% and 2% Petit Verdot. The tannins while being plentiful and firm are velvety and plush in texture. The palate shows off an array of savoury flavours and blackberry fruits that are layered and fairly long. A balanced wine with complex flavours and minerality. Jeannie Cho Lee MW, AsianPalate.com
From a blend of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot, the wine opens with espresso and blackberry scents. Medium-bodied, fresh, charming and easy to like, the wine ends with fresh cassis. theWineCellarInsider.com
The wine has a lovely softness to it with a chocolate, currant and blueberry character. Full body, with velvety tannins and juicy finish. Savory wine. 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. jamessuckling.com
