About the producer
Records of land owned by the “Armailhacq” brothers exist dating back to 1680. The Pauillac estate was known as Mouton d’Armailhacq for many years, with a reputation for its high-tech winemaking in the 1830s – spending such significant amounts that they were forced to sell off land. Their efforts, however, were recognised, with the estate classified as a Fifth Growth in 1855.
