Reticent aromas of menthol, peach and white flowers. Ripe and vibrant, boasting terrific energy and precision to the stone fruit and floral flavors. Conveys an impression of density without weight, with cut and intensity more akin to a 2010 than a '12. Finishes clean and very long, with penetrating peach and sweet nut flavors.

Bright, pale medium yellow. Subtler on the nose than the Criots, hinting at stone fruits, hazelnut and white flowers. Fresher and fruitier in the mouth, with lovely energy and cut to the stone fruit and sweet oak flavors. Totally different in style from the Criots, and much less exotic. Finishes with noteworthy vibrancy and length. There's just a single new 350-liter barrel of this juice.

An intensely floral nose of mostly honeysuckle scents also displays subtle notes of spice and ripe white fruit aromas. There is really lovely detail to the beautifully intense middle weight flavors that possess excellent precision and tension that supports the refined, pure and impressively persistent finish where a citrus component adds a bit of additional lift. This is a textbook Bienvenues of refinement and grace. Tasted: Jun 15, 2014. Tasted: Jun 15, 2014
