Score 86/100 · Drink 2000-2006, Robert Parker, Apr 2000

A wine of finesse and elegance, this tasty, soft, medium-bodied effort exhibits light tannin, ripe cherry fruit, and an expressive bouquet consisting of damp soil, red fruit, and flower scents. Consume it over the next 5-6 years.

A very good wine with pretty tobacco, cherry and plum character. Medium-bodied, with chewy tannins and a fresh finish. Best after 2000. – James Suckling , Wine Spectator 2000
