Tasting notes
Palish red. Complex, expressive aromas of raspberry, strawberry, minerals, smoky oak and earth. Broad and substantial but also refined and understated, with red fruit flavors complicated by wild herbs and a pungent note of orange zest. Finishes with smooth tannins and lingering perfume. A lovely village wine, bottled in July of 2013.

Bright medium red. Pungent perfume of raspberry, spicy oak, flowers and crushed rock. Sweet, supple and round but vibrant too, with savory flavors of cherry and earth. The tannins here are sweet and fine-grained.
This is agreeably spicy and ripe with a mélange of cassis, black cherry and raspberry aromas. There is good detail and a lovely sense of underlying tension to the appealingly complex finish that delivers fine length. This is quite pretty if not truly distinguished. Tasted: Jan 14, 2013. Drink: 2017+
