An attractive nose of forest floor, blackcurrant and plum jumps from the glass of this dense, plum/purple-colored wine. Concentrated, rich and medium-bodied, with moderate tannin, this is a sleeper and an impressively endowed wine that should continue to improve for at least another 5-10 years. Anticipated maturity: now-2019.

Sample had rather stewed, tired fruit but very promising quality beneath that. Dry finish – very bright and energetic. Good effort. Real attack. (JR)
