(disgorged September, 2011): Light yellow Candied citrus fruits, white flowers and chalky minerals on the fragrant nose. Juicy, penetrating and pure, offering lively orange and lemon zest flavors with suggestions of honeysuckle and ginger. Shows a strong mineral quality on the penetrating finish, which features a hint of toasted almond. The bottling that I reviewed last year had no disgorgement date on the back label but this one does.

Pale, bright yellow. Impressively complex scents of lemon and lime, anise, sweet butter and chalk, with a hint of marzipan in the background. Dry and incisive, offering pure citrus and orchard fruit flavors complicated by honeysuckle and mineral nuances. Finishes with excellent clarity, length and lingering chalkiness.
