The Scottish Islands

The islands are a catch-all term for the small, Scottish whisky-producing islands, excluding Islay. Some of the most well-known exports are Scapa and Highland Park from Orkney, Talisker from Skye, and Jura and Arran from their eponymous islands. The whisky styles from the islands vary greatly.

About Highlands

Today, Highland whisky styles vary greatly and can be heavily peated, light and heathery or smoky. Some of the most coveted Highland single malt producers are The Dalmore, Glenmorangie and Balblair.
