Tasting notes
The 2025 Treinta y Dos offers the most complete and even voluptuous expression of the Chacra estate, although that is within the context of a portfolio that prioritizes delicacy, purity and precision above all. Deep, dark, floral and nuanced on the nose, the shape of the wine here delivers an altogether different degree of intensity and multidimensionality from its counterparts, wafting with orange rind, peony, rose petal and subtle earthy inflections that retain the utmost degree of purity. The mouthfeel follows suit with a fantastic combination of weightless density, chiseled precision, elastic tension and supple tannin, culminating in a stunningly long and exquisitely balanced finish with considerable staying power. This was only ever on the ascent throughout the two full days I spent with the bottle, suggesting it will develop quite beautifully in bottle over the next decade or so.

An ethereal pinot noir with aromas of dried strawberries, flowers, lavender and lilacs with a hint of graphite that gives it incredible length. Medium-bodied with superfine and polished tannins and a crunchy finish showing wonderful brightness and intensity. Late release 2027. Drink or hold.
