Score 92/100 · Neal Martin (Vinous), Jan 2026

The 2024 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru comes from the top of the incline from three plots in Ladoix, Aloxe and Pernand - one barrel per plot with no new wood. This has a fragrant bouquet with yellow flowers and light chalky aromas. The palate is fresh on the entry, quite linear with orange pith and a subtle apricot note towards the finish. I would just like more substance and grip on the finish considering the Grand Cru in question.
