Cask/tank sample. Sweet and structured. Pretty chewy at this stage. Maybe conforming to the stereotype but not that much fun! Though long! Jancis Robinson

The 2024 Pommard Vieilles Vignes is a blend of two lieux-dits and cropped at 14hl/ha. This has more delineation and mineralité compared to the Volnay, nicely focused with bright red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with sweet red cherry and strawberry fruit, fine acidity, light and quite airy on the finish. Decent early drinking Pommard.
