The 2018 Pinot Noir Pratt-Sexton is lifted, delicate and super-finessed. Spice, blood orange, star anise and kirsch lend an exotic quality to the 2018 that is hugely appealing. This mid-weight, polished Pinot from John and Carri Holdredge is all class. I would prefer to drink it over the next handful of years or so.

The 2018 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley is a good value as well as an introduction into the wines of this estate. Brambly red and black fruits, spice, and dried flower notes all emerge from the glass, and it's elegant, lightly textured, and beautifully balanced. This is one of my favorites in the lineup.
