Tasting notes
2023 was a sunny vintage for Burgundy, amplifying fruit richness while the vineyard’s elevated position has helped preserve a crisp line of acidity. In classic Leflaive style, this Chardonnay was fermented and aged in small oak barrels, yielding a golden, full-bodied wine with plenty of well-integrated oak spice and concentrated notes of ripe peach and tangerine. Generous and flavoursome, it will only gain in complexity with time.

Smells like buttercups and marigolds and melted butter. Dried grass and popcorn and chamomile. Lots of lemon citrus. Almost more a parcel of beautiful elements than a painting, yet. Lots of detail and complexity here but not a composition yet. (TC)
Lovely richness and depth to this white, with sliced, spiced apple, light vanilla and matchstick. It\'s medium- to full-bodied with plenty of depth and length. Thought-provoking and flavorful, yet subtle. Drink or hold.
