The 2021 Chablis Grenouilles Grand Cru is missing fruit intensity on what feels like a relatively anonymous nose. The palate is better with a peachy, apricot-tinged opening, but it only achieves a little complexity and feels monotone on the finish. The co-operatives have produced better in the past than this, such as in 2019.

Fine Grenouilles from the La Chablisienne Co-op. Very precise and youthful, plenty of vibrant acidity here and medium weight on the palate. Should be a lovely Grenouilles to enjoy while (relatively) young. Flinty finish.
