Cask sample. More fruit and juice than in the Pommard but not the charm of a Corton really. (JR)

The 2020 Corton Les Maréchaudes Grand Cru has a really lovely bouquet, well defined with vivacious red cherry, raspberry and bilberry fruit. So refined and elegant. The palate is medium-bodied with a lovely sour cherry undertow that counterbalances that richness of this Grand Cru. Good weight and grip on the finish, this demonstrates some classy winemaking.
