Score 91/100 · Jeb Dunnuck, Mar 2021

This estate is located in the north-eastern foothills of Montalcino at 300 meters elevation above sea level, and they practice organic viticulture. The 2016 Brunello di Montalcino has lifted aromatics of confected cherry licorice, crushed roses, and sweet herbs. The palate is medium bodied and approachable, with fresh raspberry, orange peel, and tea leaf. There are fine tannins, brisk acidity, and a moderate finish. The 2016 Brunello was aged for three years in large Slavonian oak. Drink 2022-3031.
