2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate

From a tiny one-acre vineyard located just off the trail, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon saw a longer maceration and was brought up in 70% new oak for 20 months. Red and black currants, hints of framboise, sappy spring flowers, and spicy notes all define the aromatics, and it's medium to full-bodied, with a pure, layered mouthfeel, nicely integrated acidity, and a beautiful finish. It's an elegant, seamless Cabernet Sauvignon, and I certainly wouldn't guess it was a 2022 if tasted blind. I love it today yet see no reason it shouldn't evolve gracefully over the coming 10-15 years or more.
