Tasting notes
Very light gold-hued, the 2025 Château Puygueraud Blanc is an incredibly racy, bright Sauvignon Blanc based on 80% Sauvignon Blanc brought up in stainless steel and 20% Sauvignon Gris raised in used oak. The nose reveals crisp citrus, honeyed mint, and chalky mineral nuances, and it's medium-bodied on the palate, with a juicy, pure, chiseled mouthfeel and racy levels of acidity. I love its purity. Drink this solid, satisfying effort over the coming 8-10 years. Drink 2026-2036.

The 2025 Puygueraud Blanc, just bottled, is very nicely done. Lemon peel, white flowers, crushed rocks, mint and white pepper are some of the many nuances that race across the palate in this brisk dry white. The 2025 is supremely delicious. Best of all, it should be a total steal.
