Tasting notes
The 2025 Les Hauts de Smith Blanc is pure Sauvignon as usual. It has a bright nose with grass clippings, a touch of bell pepper and green apples. Lively. The palate is fresh on the entry, with sour lemon that gives it a pleasant tang. Fine texture here, decent length, this should drink well for several years but will be difficult to resist young.

Coming in as 100% Sauvignon Blanc from tiny yields and an early harvest, the 2025 Les Hauts De Smith Blanc shows a lighter gold hue as well as bright citrus, honeyed mint, and mineral nuances. It's medium-bodied on the palate, with a racy, bright, and crisp profile that shines in the vintage.
There is brilliant balance in this white, with a fine acid structure supported by flesh extract, yet with precision that keeps it long, cohesive and enjoyable. Textural finish.
The 2025 Les Hauts de Smith Blanc is a total delight. Crushed rocks, mint, lime, mint, chalk and lemon peel are all finely cut. Chiseled and vibrant in the glass, Les Hauts is a total delight. Bright saline notes reverberate on the close. The 2025 is absolutely delicious.
