The 2025 Latour-Martillac Blanc plays with a light reduction on the nose, quite mineral, with touches of sea spray coming through with time. The palate is well balanced and cohesive, with fine acidity, one of the most complex whites from this Pessac-Léognan estate that I have encountered, and it lingers on the saline finish. Bravo.

Stone fruits, orange blossom, mint, and a kiss of minerality all define the 2025 Château Latour-Martillac Blanc, a richer style of Pessac-Léognan blanc. Medium-bodied on the palate, it has a pure, balanced mouthfeel, moderate yet present acidity, and a clean finish. It brings the richness of the vintage while staying lively and vibrant.

Honeysuckle, white peaches, apricot, pears and citrus fruits display with ease in the nose. On the palate, the wine is round, supple, and fruity with a lean to its citrus and white peach filled personality. This will be easy to enjoy on release, and throughout its youth. The wine blends 59% Sauvignon Blanc, with 41% Semillon. 13.5% ABV. Drink from 2027-2032.

A chiseled, medium- to full-bodied wine combining texture and fruit, with acidity that brings cohesion and depth complemented by good concentration.
