Tasting notes
The 2025 La Louvière Blanc has a clean and precise bouquet, a little bashful at first, revealing green apple, pear and light sea spray scents with time. The palate is a little gassy on entry at the moment, with some reduction here, and good length, though it just needs more tension and race on the finish. Fine, if early drinking.

Ripe white peach, honeyed orange zest, and some minty, floral nuances all emerge from the 2025 Château La Louviere Blanc, a 100% Sauvignon Blanc raised 10 months in barrel with plenty of lees stirring. Medium-bodied on the palate, it's bright and juicy, with clean, integrated acidity and outstanding length.
A delicious white thatâs textural, balanced and attractive, with aromas of stone fruit and flowers. Medium-bodied with fresh acidity. Salty, savory, delicate and precise, with a long finish.
The 2025 La Louvière Blanc is airy and refreshing. Lemon peel, white flowers, chalk, white pepper and slate give the 2025 quite a bit of verve to match its understated personality. This aperitif-style white is a charmer.
About the producer

Wine has been made at this estate since the 1300s, but its modern history begins when the Lurton family purchased it in 1965. The property was in disrepair, but the Lurtons have restored the château, winery and vineyards.
