The 2025 Feytit-Clinet has quite a bit of reduction on the nose, but it blows away to reveal enticing blackberry and bilberry fruit, hints of truffle oil and black pepper. The oak is well integrated. The palate is very well balanced, with a sense of vibrancy, almost urgency, on the entry. Silky smooth tannins, perfectly judged acidity, tender and long on the finish, this might be the best Feytit that I have tasted from barrel, perhaps the "insiders' Pomerol" of the vintage?

A Merlot-heavy blend of 87% Merlot and 13% Cabernet Franc that will spend 15 months in 65% new French oak, the 2025 Château Feytit Clinet is just brilliant, with a full-bodied, deep, and layered profile packed with blue and black fruits, chocolate, and tobacco. On the palate, it's concentrated and powerful yet stays weightless and flawlessly balanced, with velvety tannins and a great finish. Hitting 14% alcohol, this is up with the crème de la crème of the Right Bank, as well as Bordeaux in general.

Violets, licorice, truffle, licorice, smoke, black cherries, and chocolate create the perfume. Polished, plush, fresh, and creamy, the wine is packed with ripe, sweet, energetic fruits, chocolate, and espresso. The finish is long, clean, supple, and packed with sweet, ripe, juicy fruits. This is among the best vintages of Feytit Clinet ever produced. The wine blends 90% Merlot with 10% Cabernet Franc.

Cohesive, with precise tannins and a pretty expression of dark fruit. Velvety and elegant with a bright finish.
