Tasting notes
The 2025 Clos Marsalette Blanc was picked on September 2 and 3 and aged in 20% new oak barrels. Quite perfumed and floral on the nose, it offers Mirabelle and jasmine scents alongside the citrus fruit. The palate is fresh on the entry, a white that is more about texture than overt flavours, and that's fine with me. Quite a cerebral Clos Marsalette Blanc that should be drinking fine from bottling.

An incredibly perfumed, vibrant white, the 2025 Clos Marsalette Blanc is based on 60% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Sémillon that's resting in 20% new oak. Honeyed citrus, lemon, mint, and hints of tropical fruit all define the bouquet, and on the palate, it's medium-bodied, fresh, and focused, with bright acidity and a clean finish.
The 2025 Clos Marsalette Blanc is laced with apricot, passion fruit, tangerine peel and pineapple. This is an especially exuberant, tropical vintage for Clos Marsalette Blanc. A touch of French oak shapes the long, inviting finish. There's certainly a lot to like here.
