The 2025 Bouscaut Blanc demonstrates a little more oak on the nose, though it is proportionate to the fruit. The palate is well balanced, with a more textural mouthfeel, slightly lower acidity, yet harmonious, with a prolonged, lemongrass-tinged finish. This is a very able white Pessac.

Honeyed citrus, orange, ripe peach, and white flower notes all define the 2025 Château Bouscaut Blanc, a beautiful Pessac-Léognan Blanc that's medium-bodied with a pure, clean, balanced style. On the palate, it has good acidity and outstanding length. From deeper clay soils and a blend of 60% Sauvignon and 40% Sémillon raised all in barrels (with plenty new), it will shine on the dinner table.

The 2025 Bouscaut Blanc is laced with hints of lemon confit and tangerine oil. Light oak inflections shape this creamy, open-knit white. Rich and textured, the 2025 is more generous than most vintages and will excel at the dinner table. Tasted two times.

The 2025 Bouscaut Blanc is a real success and may well rank among the best produced at this address. It reveals aromas of iodine, white flowers and spice, with oak that is already well integrated. Medium- to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, it’s defined by a delicate, gastronomic bitterness that leads into a long, ethereal, fruit-driven finish. This blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Sémillon confirms the estate’s recent stylistic evolution toward earlier-drinking, fresher wines, with an élevage that integrates more seamlessly, even at this stage.
