Score 90-92/100 · Drink 2031-2044, Neal Martin, May 2026

The 2025 Bellegrave (Pauillac) has a decent nose with ample blackberry and bilberry fruit, well-integrated oak and good vigour. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, plenty of ripe, graphite-tinged fruit and commendable density on the finish. Probably cheaper than a lot of Pauillac wines will eventually sell for, look out for this.

Offering up aromas of sweet cherries, berries and petals, the 2025 Bellegrave (Pomerol) is medium-bodied, fleshy and expressive, with an open-knit, charming, easygoing profile.
