Tasting notes
The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Tères is meant to be a more approachable bottling, made with a high proportion of young vines. It's 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and sees half new French oak and half second-use barrels. It's gently herbal, with hints of bay leaf accenting cherries and blueberries on the nose, while the palate is full-bodied, framed by soft tannins and mouthwatering acids.

These latest 2021s from ADAMVS will not be released until 2025. The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon TERES is all Cabernet Sauvignon and comes mostly from the younger vines of the estate and was aged in 50% new French oak. It has a wonderful nose of pure cassis and blue fruits as well as some subtle graphite, chocolate, and textbook Howell Mountain black olive and iron. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it's pure, has a terrific sense of elegance, fine tannins, and a great finish. There are roughly 800 cases produced.
Full of plump and vibrant damson purée, cassis and blackberry, with juicy acidity, this is structured and concentrated, still young, taking its time to show a lovely expansion through the mid palate as it opens, and plenty of velvet tannins that give structure and confidence. 72% new oak. Not yet released, but one to look out for when it arrives.
