2021 The Boss Vineyard Block 8 Cabernet Sauvignon

Coming from an incredible terroir near Futo and Harlan that's slightly higher in elevation and with an eastern exposure, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon The Boss Block 8 has a powerful bouquet of wild black and blue fruits, leafy tobacco, espresso, and violets. It's a powerful, full-bodied, concentrated 2021 with perfectly integrated oak, a layered, deep, textured mid-palate, ripe tannins, and a great finish. This brilliant Cabernet Sauvignon already has some up-front appeal given its vibrancy and balance, but ideally it will be given 4-6 years of bottle age, and I suspect it will see its 30th birthday in fine form.
