Score 88-90/100 · Drink 2027-2035, Neal Martin, Jan 2026
The 2024 Vosne-Romanée Village comprises just one tank, which is a co-ferment of Barraud and Aux Commune (80% and 20% respectively). This will be the same in 2025. It has a pH of 3.44, one of the lowest. Raised in 50% new oak, it has a pretty bouquet with red cherries and wild strawberry fruit - très Vosne. The palate is medium-bodied with impressive presence given the growing season on the entry, quite bold for a Village Cru with a touch of viscosity towards the finish. Maybe missing a bit of grip but overall this is a satisfying Vosne Village.
