This red has a medium-to light-bodied palate with a lovely center of pretty ripe fruit and finely textured tannins that run the length of the wine. Light chocolate and hazelnut on the finish. Drink or hold.
The 2021 Château Latour Pauillac is rock-solid, with a lively, juicy style that still brings a touch of Latour power and density. Cassis, black raspberries, graphite, and floral notes all define the aromatics, and it's balanced, elegant, and delicious. It will drink well for at least 15 years.
A blend of 60.9% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, and 11.1% Petit Verdot, Le Pauillac de Chateau Latour 2021 is medium to deep garnet-purple in color. It opens with fragrant, up-front scents of black raspberries and red cherries, followed by hints of black pepper, underbrush, clove oil, and powdered cinnamon. The light-bodied palate is bright and refreshing with crunchy red fruit and fine-grained tannins, finishing with a real skip in its step.
