Score 90-92/100 · Drink 2027-2036, Neal Martin, Jan 2026
The 2024 Vougeot 1er Cru Le Clos Blanc de Vougeot was cropped at just 7hl/ha. It has a light bouquet but is well defined with hints of white peach, almond and crushed stone, quite complex considering the meagre yield. The palate is well balanced with a fine line of acidity. Harmonious with a touch of stem ginger that enlivens the finish, this is worth seeking out. Nine barrels produced.
