Score 90-92/100 · Drink 2027-2039, Neal Martin, Jan 2026
The 2024 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru, raised in 50% new oak, has a well-defined and quite vigorous bouquet that, as you would expect, is a step up from the Domaine's Village Crus. Wild strawberry and raspberry intermingle with crushed stone aromas that seem delineated. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red fruit. A little brittle in texture with fine acidity, it just rushes out of the exit door without a bye-your-leave on the finish. Otherwise, a decent Clos Vougeot.
