Cask sample. Mellifluous, gentle and utterly flattering. Well done! (JR)

The 2024 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru has a relatively light bouquet with red berry fruit, wet limestone and a marine/oyster shell trait that manifests with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with sapid red berry fruit, fine acidity and decent weight on the mid-palate with a well-balanced and very nicely focused finish. This is a Clos de la Roche that stays within its limitations and in doing so this works. Just give it a few months in bottle.
