Tasting notes
As to the reds, the 2016 Syrah Stagecoach Vineyard comes from a site in the southern part of the valley. It's a deeply colored Syrah and offers a smoking good bouquet of vanilla-laced blackberry fruits, gamey olives, ground pepper, bacon fat, and spring flowers. It's pure, medium to full-bodied, sexy and yet also structured on the palate. This rock star Napa Valley beauty will be better with 2-3 years of bottle age and keep for a decade.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Syrah Stagecoach Vineyard sings of chocolate-covered cherries, black raspberries, blueberry compote and cinnamon stick with hints of cloves, star anise, lilacs and black pepper. Full-bodied, rich and plushly textured, it has a fabulous line of freshness lifting the fruit to a long, perfumed finish.
