Tasting notes
The 2023 Pinot Noir Édition Limitée is bursting with black cherry, pomegranate, charcuterie, pepper and aniseed aromas, revealing earthy and mushroomy undertones as it opens in the glass. The full-bodied palate is powerfully styled with concentrated, layered flavors. It has muscular yet polished tannins, juicy acidity and a very long, fragrant finish. It will benefit from 3–5 years in the cellar. 239 cases were made.

A club allocation, the deep red-hued 2023 Pinot Noir Edition Limitee has more savory umami depth and is deep with notes of iron-rich and sappy earth, ripe berried liqueur, and violets. With ripe tannins and an expansive broadness as it fills the palate, it offers dark berried fruit as well as hints of porcini and leather. It’s going to be best over the coming 15-20 years.
The 2023 Pinot Noir Edition Limitée blossoms in the glass with a rich blend of crushed black cherries, plums, sweet sage, mint and nuances of violet pastille. Deeply satisfying, it offers masses of ripe red and blue fruits that wash across textures of pure silk. Crisp mineral tones, a hint of citrus and the slightest tinge of dark chocolate linger on the dramatically long finish. The 2023 was fermented with 20% whole clusters.
