Score 94/100 · Drink 2026-2033, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jan 2026

The 2023 Pinot Noir Estate San Andreas Fault is a pretty powerful, tightly wound wine, its mid-weight structure notwithstanding. Brisk acids and beams of tannin confer a good deal of salivating freshness. Expressive savory, chalky and mineral undertones take on greater prominence with air. Give this time to soften. Today, the 2023 captures all the tension of this cool, late-ripening year.
