Score 86-88/100 · Drink 2016-2021, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2015

The 2014 Puligny Montrachet Village has quite a strong oyster shell influence on the nose, neatly complementing the lime flower and Granny Smith scents. The palate is well balanced and quite primal with grapefruit, melon and green apples, leading to an uncomplicated, lightly spiced finish. Fine for a village cru, though there are much better from Jean Charton this vintage.
