The 2024 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Goulots ler Cru is one of those cuvées that deceives you into thinking there is some whole cluster in the blend when there is none, just a lovely pepperiness that comes through with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, cohesive and poised vivacious red fruit with a grainy texture but vivid and entrancing finish. Excellent.

Domaine Fourrier is located in the village of Gevrey-Chambertin. The estate has been run by Jean-Marie Fourrier since 1994, and has rapidly become one of the village’s most fashionable names, known for producing pure and transparent Pinot Noir.
